Hair Gel
Hair gel is basically used to set your hair in a specific style while it is still damp or wet, it is a product with ultimate staying power. This hair styling product that helps to harden hair into any particular shape or style.
Every woman has used hair gel at one point or the other. Follow the formula below carefully and you will be able to produce your own effective hair gel.

| 2. Caustic soda | 1/32kg |
| 3. Ethanol | 1 and Half Liters |
| 4. Propylene glycol | Half Liter |
| 5. Water | 2 liters |
| 6. Perfume | 30ml |
| 7. Germall Plus | 20ml |
| 8. Color | a pinch |
Procedure
STEP 1: Soak carbopol into 2 litres of clean water for 24 hours, stir your carbopol well after 24 hours, make sure its well dissolved and no lumps.
STEP 2: dissolve caustic soda into 50ml of water for 10mins and add gradually into solution to activate your carbopol into gel.
(Be careful when using caustic soda, it can be very hot and can burn the skin, it also releases fumes when added to water. Do not stand over it.
So I advise that you add caustic soda gradually into your soaked carbopol, stir very well until solution thickens up.)
STEP 3: Add the ethanol gradually into your carbopol and stir very well to blend
STEP 4: Add propylene glycol into your solution , continue mixing it and watch your thickness
STEP 5: Add your preservative germall plus to your solution and stir well for 5 minutes.
Add in your color of choice into your gel, mix color with water and stir very well
STEP 6 Add in perfume into your hair gel and stir very well to blend.
STEP 7: If you feel your hair gel is too thick, then add water gradually till you get the level of gel thickness and consistency you desire

Note: The level of thickness of your gel is determinant on the level of water you add. so be careful when adding water to avoid having a watery hair gel.
