Setting Lotion
Hair Setting Lotion is a styling product used to set hair into a particular shape or style. This lotion is somehow similar to hair gel but it works different, setting lotion works by coating the hair and stops strands from drying out when being set in rollers. Follow the formula below and produce your own setting lotion without challenge.

1. Natrosol | 20gm |
2. Glycerin | 60ml |
3. Propylene glycol | 50ml |
4. Poly electrolyte | 1tsp |
5. Vit.E | 10ml |
6. Perfume | 50ml |
7. color | Pinch |
8. Germal Plus | 20ml |
9. water | 2liters |
Procedure
STEP 1: Dissolve your natrosol into 1.5liters of water and stir well for 10 minutes
Remember never to leave your natrosol unstirred while producing or it will form lumps
STEP 2: Add propylene glycol into your natrosol and stir well for 5 minutes
STEP 3: Add poly electrolyte into your solution and stir very well for 10 minutes
STEP 4: Add glycerin into the solution and stir very well for 5 minutes
Add your vitamin E into your solution and stir very well for 5 minutes to blend
Add in your preservative Germall plus 20ml and stir well to blend
STEP 5: Mix your color of choice with 100ml of water and stir well to dissolve, add into your mixture and stir very well for 5 minutes to blend.
STEP 6: Finally add perfume into your setting lotion and stir well for 5 minutes to blend and be smooth.
Note: If the solution is too thick at this point, go ahead and add the remaining water gradually and stir very well. Cover solution for 6 hours then you can package into your containers for use.
