Vaseline Production
The trade mark name Vaseline belongs to a healing and soothing ointment made from 100% pure petroleum jelly. In 1859, a young American chemist called Robert Chesebrough traveled to Titusville (a small town in Pennsylvania) where the oil workers were using an unrefined form of petroleum jelly called rod wax to heal wounded and burnt skin.

Procedure.
STEP 1: Put a clean pot on a low heat fire either stove or gas cooker and add the 800ml of paraffin oil and allow to warm very well for 5 minutes, please let the oil warm and not fry. STEP 2: Add your 1kg of petroleum jelly to the warm oil and allow it melt and warm well for 10 minutes. Stir the jelly to blend with the oil.
STEP 3: Add in 1/8 kg paraffin wax and allow it melt and blend well for 5 minutes
STEP 4: Add your ¼ kg shea butter and allow it melt and blend well for 5 minutes.
AT THIS JUNCTURE, TURN OFF THE FIRE AND ALLOW YOUR HAIR CREAM TO COOL FOR 40 MINUTES TO BECOME WARM BUT NOT HOT, BEFORE YOU PROCEED TO ADD THE REMAINING CHEMICALS
STEP 5: Add in your vitamin E and stir it to blend well for 3 minutes
STEP 6: Add Lanolin into the mixture and stir to blend for 3 minutes
The warmness of the mixture will melt the lanolin and blend it with the mixture. STEP 7: Add in your perfume and stir the whole mixture very well
Allow it to cool for 1 more hour then you can now scoop it into already used Vaseline container or package for use at home or sale to your customers.
